199 Days To Go

Well, it’s becoming more and more real as today i drop under 200 days left to go. I’m really looking forward to completing my incarceration and getting back home to my friends, family and work.

Time seems to be accelerating lately. I think it is due to a combination of several factors. I’ve gotten into a daily routine where I am busy all of the time and have no idle time to speak of. The idle time that I occasionally find myself in is usually taken up with sleep. My new job heading up the clerks office in the recreation department has me working 6 days a week, with 1, 2 or on Saturday 3 shifts in the office. I’m teaching a discussion group class called Reflections. I’m participating in the Toastmasters speech and debate organization. Each week I’m also working on the grape vines learning a lot about viticulture. Combine all of that with my daily workout routine, reading a new book every few days, and spending 6 to 8 hours a day designing new hardware and software and it seems like the weekends are upon me faster each week. In a few weeks will mark my 1 year at this institution, and less than 6 months to go. I want to thank all of my friends and family for the continued support, and for taking the time to send letters, books, magazines and everything else, I am truly thankful for everyone.
