Visiting in Prison

I had a great visit with my mother and father today in prison. We talked about a lot of things that pertained to my future and our future together as a family after my release from prison. Some things of course weren’t easy to talk about. I still have a lot of trust to regain, which isn’t going to happen overnight, it’s going to take years of sobriety, following through with what I say I’m going to do, being a man of my word, etc., etc. Life isn’t easy, the best choices are some of the most difficult to make, I just look forward to the long road ahead, showing my loved ones over and over again that I am a changed man. Honesty and integrity is the life that I continue to live each day in here in prison, I have no doubt this new way of life will carry on with me forever.
