Letting Go

One thing that all of this solitary time has given me is the opportunity to let go of my anger for the fact that the people that put me here had violated the settlement in the civil suit. Had they lived up to the terms it would have never escalated to a federal case. For the first year I plotted how to get revenge. It would have involved more litigation upon my release and at this point I’ve decided to let go of the millions their violation cost me because the most important and valuable thing, my time, I can never get back and I don’t want to waste any more of it on them. Instead I am going to focus on my family and my future.
