THANKSGIVING
It is the time of year when the days are getting shorter, and the air colder. With this year’s Thanksgiving I want to take a moment and reflect on all that I am thankful for. Certainly this year has been the most difficult and trying of my life, but I have a great many things to be thankful for.
The love of my family has been an amazing gift that I have experienced more deeply in the past six months than ever before. Having amazing friends who continue to stand by me and my family is something that I am most thankful for.
I am extremely thankful to the Unit Manager, Associate Warden, and Warden for making the effort of converting a storage closet into a workspace with great lighting and huge desk surfaces where I can read, write and design new concepts on a daily basis. Having a creative space is something that I can look forward to taking advantage of every day, allowing me to productively make use of my time.
I am thankful for the exercise facilities, and the help of others in regaining my fitness. In the six months that I have been here I have been able to make significant health changes that will surely extent my life.
I am thankful to all of those that have written their Congressman urging them to enact prison reform. God willing this will soon pass and I’ll be home for my next Thanksgiving.
Enjoy this Thanksgiving with your family and loved ones and make sure to reflect and give thanks for everything positive in your life.
Dear David,
I really enjoy receiving your epistles and have reread them several times. Oh, do I (we) wish you were out here directing NTEK. I expect that it is very stressful for you to be aware as to what has occurred to the share price, although I’m not sure you could have done anything to ameliorate the current situation. But of course many of your shareholders believe that you walk on water – myself included. We look forward to your return, assuming that you wish to do so and are allowed to do so.
It does sound like you are improving you physical condition. This is probably a blessing from both your own and your family’s perspective. I hope you have a nice Christmas and can convey your sentiments to your family. God bless you.
