Since committing to a daily blog post, I've begun to receive feedback and questions from total strangers. At least two letters a week since Thanksgiving. I'm glad my blog is achieving its objective on helping others prepare for business, prison and life.

This afternoon while reviewing a handful of letters, with only a slight variation, several letters end with the following phrase, "I suppose if you can survive prison, my son can too.". Without exception, I continue to author the same response: "Anyone can survive prison. In fact, every year our country's prison system releases 650,000 people who all survived. It's a pathetically small number of people who can truly thrive through prison. I thrive. Let's work together to ensure that your son thrives through the criminal justice system. It's not easy, but it can be done.".

Tomorrow, the 29th, I'll answer a question I received regarding camp placement.
