Yes we are in prison, yes it can get to you but there are funny, funny moments that occur and sometimes we laugh so hard we cry. Tonight I had one of those moments while playing spades, yes, we do play cards too. We were discussing how bad the food is here at Camp fed and we related that often the food goes right thru you, rather quickly. In fact one of our crucial supply items that we covet greatly is toilette paper.
This evening one of our players related a story he was told by another inmate earlier today, the story is about an inmate who is a rather large gentlemen, 6'2" and 300+ pounds, who happens to reside in a top bunk. You can well imagine at that size and girth getting up and down to his bunk is not an easy task to say the least. In our dorm our lights go out here at 10:30 Pm, on this evening we had a particularly disruptive meal, and our gentlemen was not feeling well at all throughout the evening. At lights out, to his great dismay, he became extremely gaseous, so gaseous in fact that it unfortunately became a liquid, a liquid that proceeded to run down his leg all over his bunk. It was such a mess that in the dark this poor gentleman had to dismount and try and find new bedding and clothing and try to make his fouled bed in the dark, all the while he was still in his overly gaseous state. Needless to say the gas spread to the general vicinity around his bunk and he now had several of his neighbors crying foul and screaming for his head. He gathered a crowd of friendly onlookers, I cant begin to tell you the catcalls and abuse he suffered. It was a comic highlight for many that night and a story that caused us to fall down in laughter and tears and has kept hundreds in stitches since. So yes, we do sometime have a perversely fun time here at Camp Fed.
