Christmas Week in Jesup.
I got my stitches out of my hand on Monday. The pin is still in my finger.
We attended Bingo on Monday Night in the chow hall. The winners receive a holiday gift bag identical to the ones
We received last week. No luck on my part! I never envisioned myself playing bingo in prison, but then again I did not envision many things that have happened in my life based upon my poor choices.
We have several good holiday Movies scheduled for this weekend so there is something to look forward too.
I have received a number of holiday cards and letters which truly help to lighten my mood. My family is together in Florida and will spend the holidays with some good friends. This fact brings Me some joy and peace.
When I was at medical getting my stitches out there was another prisoner trying to see the Doctor. He was told He
was on the list and to watch for his name on the callout sheet. ( to be seen in medical, you submit a written form and get called back at a later date.) He was angry about the wait and reused to leave. The Doctor told him She was calling an officer to remove him. I went in for treatment at this point in time. When I came out, He was gone. ( to the SHU ? )I am grateful that I don't have any serious medical issues because I am quite sure I would be dissatisfied with the timeliness and quality of my medical care. ( your medical options are limited when you make the choice to come to prison )
I hope you all have a great holiday!
