The weather has turned, and it's been raining since last night which upsets me simply because it kills my morning walk and routine. Normally i would walk in a light rain, but this one was a lot more than light, so no walk. The weather forecast says it will clear by late today and will be dry for the rest of the week, in the 40s. That's all great news, walk wise and routine wise.
The really good news today is the 60 day clock has started its count down. Unfortunately this one is not coming down off the Times Sq. Tower but to me it's a bigger even than New Years Eve, much. So routines and day’s aside it's good to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I truly appreciate knowing that the hardest part is over. As my fellow inmates tell me I can do 60 days standing on my head. If that would make it any faster just show me where you want me to stand, on my head. This has certainly been an experience I shall have for the rest of my life, learning and growing experience and one that has further shown me the power of the human spirit and mind. It has also taught me many more lessons about life and how adaptable we all are when we have to be. It has been a humbling experience too and has shown me that I don't know it all, not even close, and intelligence comes in many varieties, kind of like Heinz 57.
