I am surprised that I have not heard back from Mr. Trump. Oh well, I guess He is too busy to respond?
Today is my bride's birthday! The second one I have missed over the past 31 years! I hope and pray that I only miss one more. The good news is she has a group of close friends with her to celebrate the occasion.
My day in prison started out slowly. I did my job sweeping the compound sidewalks. I watched some news on the pavilion television set. I sent an email to the Dental Hygiene staff trying to figure out why they have not scheduled Me for a cleaning. I had great teeth before I came to prison and I would like to leave prison with them.
Lunch consisted of 2 hotdogs. After lunch, I went out with one of the younger guys in my unit to work out on the rec yard. A quick shower after my workout and I then spent a couple hours reading my current book, "The Black Swan". After dinner (4:30 p.m.), I found a spot on the pavilion to watch the rest of the Ohio State/Michigan State Game. Sparty pulled it out at the end of the game and I thought about my son who is a hugh Sparty fan. I cannot wait to be able to sit on my own couch and watch a game, any game, with my son. After the game, I called my son to discuss the game and catch up with what is going on in his life. I am now back in my cube, trying to write this blog in the midst of screaming prisoners. (It is always louder on the weekends). Just 45 minutes to 10:00 p.m. standup count and I can crawl into my bunk and know I have completed another day of my sentence.
One day closer to the door.
