Saturday after my first Christmas in the joint, certainly Noel in the joint was a new and interesting first experience, one that will certainly be edged in my memory banks for many moons. There was much good cheer and plenty of good will towards men in here. Today is back to normal, sort of, plenty of post Christmas "jet lag" in here and everyone seems to be marching to a slower beat this afternoon. They are showing a matinee movie at 1 of the latest Jurassic Park gem, it appears to be sold out, inmate chairs were placed in the screening room hours before the first show. There will be another showing, I think, post 4 pm count, I'm seeing chairs poised for that one already and it's only noon. The weather is not as warm as the past several days but certainly much warmer as it should be; many are outside walking the track and exercising. The usual Saturday morning hops game did not happen, too many of the players are "jet logged" I guess. As for me, i intend to grab a seat in the library and start a Stephen King book my son sent; I know that will be fun. The only thing missing for me is a Starbucks Venti Skim Latte, a toasted bagel with cream cheese and sliced tomatoes and some good Jazz.

Then a stroll down to the beach, followed by a drive to my favorite seafood restaurant for oysters and...A guy can dream. T minus 63 and counting, we're getting close enough for the dreams to begin.
