A very rainy day down here today at Camp Fed, this throws my routine off, raining and windy I cant do my 1 1/2 walk and exercise, while this in itself is no big deal, it does throw my routine off. Routines for those of us in here are really important, and for those of us who are structured to begin with it gives us a little extra queasy feeling. That 1 1/12 hours is an integral part of my day and it also is the healthiest thing I do in here. So when I lose that I get antsy. I will replace it without a hitch but the dance of routine is interrupted. I have found in speaking with many of my fellow inmates many, if not all have their own routines. For some it's hours of TV, or hours of sleep, reading, writing, exercise, cards, schmoozing all couple with the jobs most of us have help pass the time and kill the monotony of the prison life. It's funny, but when I say the monotony of prison life the same routine we all submit ourselves to is pretty monotonous too. Fortunately there is always the interruptions and high jinks provided to us by the BOP and all their employees, they never fail to spice up the daily life with some sort of comic relief. Between the call outs, the announcements, the searches, the overall hassles they provide we're never at a loss for some kind of novel fun.
