Here I am walking around the track this morning, my day off, so I got an early start, 6:10 Am, 20 minutes ahead of the sunrise. (It was a very lovely sunrise too) I'm thinking as I circle the track that this is really great stuff, walking in the fresh air, getting some great exercise, some great thinking time and pretty much thinking about the world and my place in it and then it strikes me, I'm walking for over 2 hours and I'm going to walk about 10 miles this morning.  10+ miles and feeling pretty dam good.  And it's a gloriously beautiful morning. My weight is down to my college weight and I actually feel pretty good, I'm told I'm looking pretty good too by my fellow inmates and visitors.

So here's a hearty thank you to the BOP for doing for me what I really haven't been able to do for years, making me stick to a diet (the food thing is a whole other story) and an exercise routine that has put (boredom is certainly a strong motivator) me back to where I wanted to be physically.  The BOP has also given me a lot of time to reflect and think about some things as well.  Things I couldn't or wouldn’t mull over on the outside simply because I was on the outside.  And finally, the BOP has taught me a great deal of patience and how to live a minimal existence.  So thank you BOP.
