2 Month Review From Federal Prison
I’ve now completed my second month. Looking back I’ve been trying to make the most of my time.
I've been working out 6 days a week, sometimes 7, and have lost over 32 pounds.
I've been blessed with many great friends and former business associates that have provided me with an endless stream of books. Last night i completed my 42nd book. i've enjoyed a wide variety of business books, educational books, and some massive novels including atlas shrugged and chosen. I’ve started a lot of writing and have determined three subjects that i have written outlines for and started in on several chapters in a couple of them.
I’ve been promoted in my job here. i've been taking some great classes on purpose, enjoyed several weeks of study group, and attended some great church services. This week some of my elective classes will begin.
I've been working on updating my resume and working on trying to keep up with as much technology as i can through the media and reading magazines and books. the world is changing fast, and with some good luck and halfway house time I’ll be able to re-engage next year and catch up on all that is going on.
Thanks for all of the great letters and comments of support, it is much appreciated.
Just take care of yourself, Dave. We’re all wishing you the best and wishing you were back at the helm.
Hi David. I continue to be amazed with your positive attitude and diligent efforts to make the best of your daily life at Taft. 42 books and 32 pounds in 2 months! Wow!
Thanks for your letter and the information you could provide about NTEK. I read more on HR 2944. I will write our congressman. Can I use you as an example? From my view You have been taken out of opportunity to advance important technologies that give value to our society and the economy. Seems like the bill is focused mainly on drug offenders. Maybe a stumbling block for some congressmen to vote in favor of the bill especially here in Idaho.
I did not attend the SHM yesterday but gleaned from the investors hangout board the key announcements. Seems the meeting was well attended and the presentations were taken positively. I hope they will execute.
I am planning to attend G2E. Excited to get my hands on the pinball game and see any new games they may display. Are you able to keep abreast of NTGL developments or share any insight?
Let me know if I can help you in any way. Stay positive. Sincerely john Witte.
