LIVE THROUGH IT
We all have mess we wish would somehow magically clean itself up. We endure "things", "situations", "tragedies", "health issues", "financial setbacks" and many other life experiences that simply put make us want to just crawl in a hole and not come out. This is called "life". We all go through situations that can rock us to the very core. One thing I've learned during my journey is that you HAVE to "live" through it. It's hard. Everyday you are in a surreal bubble. You want to run out of the bubble as quickly as you can. But you can't! This is your season that you must endure. Some seasons last a week, month or leave an indelible lifetime mark on us. Whatever the circumstance you have the power to endure. You just have to believe and move forward. Endurance takes strength, faith, patience, tears, acceptance, prayers and reliance on a higher power to cradle you. My higher power is my GOD. I am a Christian. I am so grateful that I have my God to surrender too.
Sometimes our trials and tribulations are tests. These tests must be administered and passed in order to move to the next level.- But it was and is NOT so. I am a free bird in mind, body and spirit. This imprisonment of the body is a challenge. But I stand STRONG. I rely on my prayers and my personal relationship with the Lord that keeps me safe in his arms.
This experience has been one of daily prayer and meditation. I have spent my time trying to encourage other women that have years to go before they are finally free from federal prison. They have left spouses, children and other family members behind. Some are guilty, some are innocent. At the end of the day we stand together. If you stand strong during your turbulent times at some point you will be able to look back and say thank God for taking care of me during that time. You can make it! You will make it. You have just got to endure it......One day at a time.
That is so true my sister. As much as we hate to face our tests and trials in our own due season, we must hold on to our faith that this too shall pass. God will never leave you or forsake you. Keep the faith and continue to live one day at a time. You have the VICTORY!
All I can say is Amen! keep focusing on the Lord. Don’t allow anything to enter your mind that is not of God. Infact, no thought should go uncheck. Cast it down and bring it in to captivity according to the word of God. I see you are doing that…Stand strong in his Promises and remember to start your day with at least 3 minutes of 1) Thanking Him. 2) Praising Him. 3) Worshipping him.
You have a divinely pre-wired Perfect You – a unique way of thinking and seeing the world that God has placed within you – a divine sense of purpose, a piece of eternity! (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
